Sewing pattern and instructions: Cozy sweater or dress with many variations

You can sew a lot of different models using this pattern: Plain sweaters with or without cozy collar, hoodies, a sweatshirt dress  or a rather classic half-zip sweater.

All LongiHoods are a rather loose fit.

The shorter version is a straight cut and suits boys and girls as well.
The longer version (sweatshirt dress) is slightly fitted and will rather fit the girls.

All models are made with cuffs at the sleeves and at the hem.

You can sew the front of the shorter LongiHood in trendy color blocking style. This also looks good with sleeves in different colors. The color blocking version is also great for using some of the larger scraps in your stash.

The PDF contains 43 color pages (DIN A4):
• 20 pages sewing tutorial (instruction and cutting directions, with many illustrations. Text in English)

Please note: My patterns don’t include the seam allowance, it needs to be added when cutting out the pieces.
All measurements are in centimeters / meters.

The EU-sizes used convert approximately to these US-sizes:
68=6M • 74=9M • 80=12M • 86=18M • 92=2 • 98=3 • 104=4 • 110=5• 116=6 • 122=7 • 128= 8 • 134=9 • 140=10 • 146=11 • 152=12 • 158=13 • 164=14 • 170=15
European sizes are based on children’s height. If you know your child’s height, just convert it from inches to centimeters and select the EU size according to the height.

Please be aware that these are digital PDF-files you have to print yourself (“ebooks“), you will not receive a paper pattern via mail.
This pattern is optimized for DIN A4 paper, most will work fine on letter size paper as well.
